slash IMMIGRATION

Australia needs net negative migration, not vague promises.

Put Australians first.

One Nation has built its support on a promise to end mass migration and reduce the pressure on Australian housing, wages and infrastructure.

In March, Pauline Hanson said 130,000 would be a cap on migrant arrivals. Using her own figures, 130,000 people would arrive and approximately 230,000 would leave, producing net migration of minus 100,000.

The meaning of 130,000 has now changed.

Hanson now says 130,000 is One Nation’s positive net migration target. Using the same number of departures, this policy could allow 360,000 migrant arrivals each year and still produce positive net migration of 130,000.

The difference is simple. Hanson’s earlier formula allowed 130,000 arrivals and reduced the population through migration by 100,000.

Her current position could allow 360,000 arrivals and increase the population through migration by 130,000.

That means 230,000 more migrant arrivals every year under the same 130,000 slogan.

One Nation MP David Farley has created further confusion by suggesting additional migrant workers could sit outside the headline figure. Hanson contradicted him, while One Nation’s website continues to describe 130,000 as a cap on visas.

Australians deserve one clear answer showing how many people will arrive, how many will leave and whether the population will grow or shrink.

Revive Australia’s position is clear. Net migration must remain negative for the foreseeable future, with more people leaving Australia than settling here.

Continuing to increase the population through migration will keep Australians competing for homes, jobs and services that are already stretched beyond capacity.

One Nation gained support by promising serious migration cuts. It must honour that promise.
